What is Affiliate Internet Marketing?

Affiliate Internet marketing is simply an advertising practice that involves a merchant who has a product that they need marketed and a publisher (you) who sends targeted traffic to the merchants website in exchange for a small commission or fixed dollar amount lead.
There is often a broker who works between the merchant and publisher. The broker takes a commission on the publishers commission.

There are many types of affiliate Internet marketing strategies and plans. The main methods are: Pay per sale (PPS), Pay per click (PPC) and Pay per lead (PPL).
